Lead Pastor

Mark Sullivan grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. Yes, he is a die-hard Bears fan (which is a challenge in Minnesota)!

Mark did not have a relationship with Jesus Christ until he was a high school senior. Once saved, he felt the calling on his life to let others know the life transforming power of having a personal relationship with Jesus.

He attended Elgin Community College in Elgin, Illinois where he received his Associate of Arts degree and then transferred to North Central University where in 1991 he graduated with his bachelor of arts in Pastoral Studies. He served as Youth Pastor at Crossroads Church in Prior Lake from 1993 to 1999. He served at New Life Christian Center in Princeton from 2000 to 2004 on a volunteer basis in preaching ministry, Sunday School, Junior Bible Quiz, and Adult and Children's Drama Ministry.

God has called him to be a church planter in Waconia, Minnesota in 2004 and now serves as pastor of Promise Community Church.

Mark has been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God since 1995.
